Heights began to evolve just one year ago when the experimentations of five young musicians crashed together. Building layer upon layer of beautifully distorted melody, hard percussion and raw soaring vocals seems to be innate to the quintet who bring their immaculate influences, such as Cult Of Luna, a fresh post-hardcore edge.

Not long after their forming, Heights self-released their debut EP, ‘The Land, The Ocean, The Distance’ which received instant attention and they began to relentlessly tour the UK, earning themselves an infamous live reputation as a band who evoke upmost chaos and insania in even the most placid of crowds.

Now, Heights are touring the UK festival circuit, fresh from Download they play T In The Park this weekend in a set the band are calling ‘learn to love metal’! With live dates seeing them through to the end of 2010, the monumental wall of noise is building once again as they write material for their debut album on the road. Heights will also be touring UK in November with Flood Of Red & House Vs. Hurricane.

Italy’s extreme metal act STIGMA are set to strike again with their sophomore album ‘Concerto for the Undead’ . Produced at Fear Studio by BRING ME THE HORIZON guitarist Jona Weinhofen and mixed and mastered by Scott Atkins (BEHEMOTH, CRADLE OF FILTH, SYLOSIS),  the album presents listeners with a crystal clear barrage of uncompromising brutality; fusing staccato riffs with relentless blast-driven percussion and wholly punishing beatdowns.

“I originally met the guys in Stigma when I was still playing in Bleeding Through; they opened all of our Italian shows and I saw big potential in their music. When Vlad approached me to chat about his new songs we spoke about working together as they were so great. ‘Concerto For The Undead’ has turned out great! The guys and I are really stoked with the production of the recorded and obviously really excited about the album as a whole. I know a lot of people will dig this record!” Jona Weinhofen, Bring Me The Horizon & producer of STIGMA

It is with great regret that DragonForce announce a parting of the ways with singer ZP Theart. This is due to insurmountable differences of musical opinion but the rest of the band sincerely wish ZP great success with his future projects. While the creative core members have begun writing the fifth album, they have also started a worldwide search for a new vocalist. “We are looking for a powerful melodic singer, to write a new chapter of DragonForce with us.” said guitarist Herman Li.

Anyone wishing to audition for the vacant position should apply following the instructions at this web address www.dragonforce.com/audition
